Biography

Korina Giaxoglou is Lecturer in English Language and Applied Linguistics and Associate Head (Curriculum & Quality)at the School of Languages and Applied Linguistics. Her teaching and research interests focus on the study of discourse, narrative, affect and social media sharing. She is the author of "A Narrative Approach to Social Media Mourning: Small Stories and Affective Positioning" (Routledge, 2020) and her research has been published in edited volumes and peer-reviewed journals including Pragmatics, Discourse, Context and Media, Language@Internet and Social Media+Society.
