Biography

I feel privileged to have gained multiple cultural experiences and their history so far.

After spending 25 years growing up in France, I moved to the United States for 17 years, transferred to the United Kingdom in 2007, and spent about six months in three other countries. Being an expat has taught me to keep an open mind and appreciate each country's biodiversity, impressive landscapes, and unique cultures.

I also suffered two major accidents 30 years apart, both I restarted from scratch, being unable to walk, talk, breathe, eat, and so on. I realised that our biology is unique in its ability to recover from trauma, physical or psychological. We humans look alike, but we're different, and both relate to our environment. I would have perhaps fully recovered in other parts of the world, while in other parts, I wouldn't be writing this today. I find this interesting.

However, It's a privilege to have gained such experience, knowledge and understanding.

In this new chapter at the Open University, S111 was challenging for me, but I managed. Now, let's see if I can pass S112.
