Biography
A young and fit 78 year old still with an enquiring mind and always willing to learn something new.
Technical college schooling, then ontoengineering to become a designer.Allied to the food industry and subsequently hospitality. Organisations now well and truly forgotten - Unigate, Trust Houses Forte, GrandMet, ending a career with Odeon anda varied spell contributing to the resurgence of Cinema.
Always held an inspiration to move forward through evolution and development.
At this stage of life and particularly as Covid19 leaves us somewhat in limbo - the OU throws out a wellbeing lifeline - can't wait to stimulate the unusedrecesses of the brain - let'srelearn Maths. I'm pretty good up to 147 and evenstretch things out to 180, but beyond snooker and darts there's a lot I would like to rekindle from my past and unused knowledge.
i have also the belief that through fitness and a balanced life stylethere is the fairpossibility that good health, both physically and mentally,will continue to flourish even as we grow old.
Looking forward to taking advantage of other OU courses.
