Biography

I am studying for an OU degree in Mathematics and its Learning. I love narrowboating, geocaching, boardgames, crafting andam a Leader with a Guide and Ranger Unit. I'm interested in almost everything, but I especially care about education, inclusion and engineering. I work as a Pupil Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant in schools. Its a job which is fun, challenging and always different, but I particularly enjoy helping with maths teaching soI am taking the opportunity to study anOU degree in 'Mathematics and its Learning'. I hope that learning more about how children develop mathematical concepts will make me better at helping the children I work with, and I know getting my brain around new mathematical concepts will help keep it in shape!
