Biography
Barman is an academician who believes in educational and academic social responsibilities for social and economic development. He is a Doctorate in Business Administration, Post Doctorate in International HRD.
Dr. Arup Barman, is a Associate Professor, at Deptt. of Business Administration, JNSMS, Assam University, Silchar. He is a PhD, a recipient of the Post Doctoral Research Award from UGC, 2009-2011 (India); Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) of AIMA, New Delhi. He received a scholarship from Global Development Network (GDN) and from Centro de implementation de Politicas Publicas para la Equidad yel Crecimienton (CIPPEC), Argentina: a Fellow Chartered Educator (honoris causa) issued under the academic treaty signed with Consortium Euro-America; Best Reviewer Award, 2011 by JMS managed by Non Olympic Times (NOT) under International Nobel Peace Prize Recommendation Forum (INPPRF); Best Teacher Award from MTC-Global in 2011. Dr Barman is a recipient of the Best Professor (Teacher) Award -2013 from the Association of Scientists and Developers Foundation- ASDF Global.
He is a Member (Honoris) of the Grand Council of Royal Spiritual and Healing Counsel, Ukraine; a Member of the Advisory Board of the World Center for Academic Excellence and Research (WCAER), India; Full Member of the International Research Association for Talent Development and Excellence, Germany; Member of Researcher Alliance for Development (RAD), World Bank; Fellow, Indian Society of Business Management (FISBM), Chennai; Fellow of Agri-Horticultural Society (FHAS), India; a Head (Hony) of International Research and Development Council (CCLP-Worldwide, a Consultative Organisation to ECOSOC, UN); a scientific consultant of Lumen Publishing House (Romania), within the activities of International Conference Logos Universality Mentality Education Novelty (LUMEN-2013, till 2016).
As a researcher and an author Dr. Barman has in his credit more than 150 international research papers in his credit. He produced 10 numbers of Ph. D.s and has been guiding 8 numbers of scholars presently on innovation and adaptive performance and business agility; He is much interested in East Asian Business Studies and in International HRD.
