Wales is the first nation in the world to create a law to protect and improve the well-being of its people, both now and in the future. This law is called the Well-being of Future Generations Act.
The Act only works if people use it. Everybody in Wales has the right to use the Act to help create better tomorrow for our environment and economy, as well as our society and culture.
In this guide you will find practical steps to help you get started and will show how the Act is already being used to improve local areas in Wales.
