        This resource is designed to support adults to be confident with reading, interpreting and using simple graphical data and visualisations. These skills will enable you to extract insights and solve problems in various contexts at work and in everyday life.

        The course materials were designed and developed to support Highland Multiply, a UK Government funded adult numeracy programme, delivered by Highland Council through UHI Inverness. However, the activities and resources are open to everyone.

        You can can dip in and out of the materials, or work through them in the order presented.

    • read different types of data presented within different visual formats, including tables, charts, graphs and pictograms;
    • interpret and compare graphical data presented within tables, charts and diagrams to extract insights, make decisions and solve problems.
