Welcome to the course
This course will equip teachers in Displacement camps across Africa with practical knowledge, tools, and strategies to integrate socio-emotional learning (SEL) into their teaching practices.
Given the complex emotional and psychological needs of children who have experienced displacement and trauma, this course will empower teachers to foster emotional resilience, positive social skills, and a supportive learning environment.
Teachers will also learn how to address their emotional well-being to sustain their role as supportive educators.
Course duration:
4 weeks (self-paced with facilitator support)
Target audience:
Primary school teachers working in refugee or internally displaced person (IDP) camps in Africa.
