Citizen science in schools

Do you think that teaching citizen science in schools is a good idea?

Citizen science teaches them new ways of living in the community.

They are taught about sensor technology, environmental protection.

What do you consider to be the main benefits and challenges?

Caring for the common good is encouraged, the challenge is to convince them of the need for a better life.

I completely agree. I think citizen science is a great way to make science part of everyday life and show young people that learning can connect directly to real-world action.

It also makes STEM feel more accessible and exciting, especially when students can see that their contributions and data actually matter. That sense of participation can really help young people believe these opportunities are open to them too!
