I am a newcomer to Moodle and have been experimenting with the setting Qs in the lesson as well as in quiz format. 2 queries have arisen so far.

1. In the lesson format I set the 'flow control' (under 'lesson admin') to a certain maximum no. of attempts eg 1. (see below).This is not complied with when trying out the  Questions i have constructed. Maybe there is another control I have missed?

2. Lesson format Qs are limited compared to that in quiz and yet questions can be integrated easily into the content. Quiz based presentation of content is nicely enabled by the 'description' option. For a fairly content intensive and lengthy course that I am about to construct, which is the best way forward? 100% Quiz or 100% lesson format or a bit of both?
