I live in Tehran, one of the most polluted cities in the world, with numerous sources of pollution, including both stationary and mobile sources.
Although there are some official devices monitoring air quality, there are no citizen-based monitoring systems, and — as far as I know — this concept is not part of any public discussions or government initiatives.
