We need to understand first what leads a man to become part of a misogynistic and patriarchal society. What steps do the culture or the society they are raised in lead to the inequalities we see each and every day? One of the first things that can be done is to teach kids boys and girls alike, the issues of patriacrhy and inequality and how it may start as gender, but then go on to join the various other inequalities in our society.
It would be beneficial to address gender inequality specific to the boy child through safe mental health spaces for boys and men (as they grow into adulthood so that each developmental stage is covered) Boniface. To drive sustainability, the men at the end of that process, become facilitators to the next group of boys if that's their interest. Using STEM learning practices can be a driver to start conversations because it's easier to then open up over a shared common interest.
