You will choose one public museum collection page or one exhibition introduction page (your choice, from anywhere in the world). Then you will:

  1. Rewrite the object/exhibition description into a 90-word label using the course template

  2. Add one in-text citation in your label (Author/Organisation, Year)

Why this matters: This is a real skill used in museums, exhibitions, catalogues, education, and portfolio writing. It trains you to write clearly for global audiences using evidence, not guessing.

How to choose a good source (quick guide)

Pick a page that includes at least:

  • an object photo (optional)

  • a short description (even 2–3 sentences)

  • basic metadata (title/object type, materials, date or “unknown”, collection)

Good sources often include: British Museum, V&A, MET, Smithsonian, National Palace Museum, etc. (any country is fine).
