Welcome to CaseSnappy’s free course on the responsible use of AI in legal research. When I founded CaseSnappy from my university dorm room in 2023, I felt that legal research was too inefficient. But I also felt that with the then-recent rapid surge in the accessibility of AI tools, it was incredibly difficult for students to determine how – if at all – to use AI in their studies.

This short course aims to target that very issue. Through self-paced online modules, you’ll be immersed in the world of AI in legal research: what it is, its risks, its benefits and best practices. In creating the course, I've hyperlinked various sources and tools you may want to delve deeper into, and there's also a glossary full of key terms. There’ll be quizzes at the end of each module, and upon completion, you'll get a custom statement of participation to show off on your CV and LinkedIn profile!
