This course is designed for parents and teachers who want to understand bilingualism in children. You will learn how children naturally acquire two languages, what is normal at different ages, and how bilingual exposure supports cognitive, emotional, and academic development.

We'll explore how children build understanding long before they speak, why mixing languages is normal, and how real-life exposure, immersion, stories, games, listening, and meaningful input shape bilingualism and fluency in two languages over time.

Whether you are raising a bilingual child at home or supporting multilingual students in the classroom, this course gives you a clear, reassuring framework grounded in how the brain actually learns language.

To earn a free Statement of Participation, you will need to create a free account, enroll in the course, and view all the lessons. You will receive the certificate by email after completing the course.
