Social Partnerships Network

Archived user story from the Social Partnerships Network, now often referred to as the Partnership for Lifelong Learning. A group of organizations, led by The Open University (OU), aimed at widening access to higher education, supporting workplace learning, and improving social mobility.

The Open University's Social Partnerships Network has created six free badged open courses to support learners interested in a variety of fields who are new to higher education. The courses were set up to host materials published using OU structured content and also include quizzes, several badges and a Statement of Participation for each courses.

The Social Partnerships Network is a group of ten organisations that are committed to creating a more diverse higher education system. These courses were built by the Social Partnership Network as part of the National Network for Collaborative Outreach project funded by HEFCE.
