Welcome to the Energy Transition Bootcamp

The Energy Transition Bootcamp is an 8-week online programme designed specifically for young Nigerians who want to understand energy deeply and do something meaningful with that understanding.

You do not need to be an engineer. You do not need a technical background. You need curiosity, commitment, and a genuine interest in how energy shapes the world around you.

Over eight weeks, you will move through a carefully structured journey:

Weeks 1–2 lay the foundation  what energy is, why access matters, and where Nigeria stands in the global energy transition.

Weeks 3–4 go deeper into policy, governance, renewable technologies, and real-world energy solutions, from solar home systems to mini-grids to clean cooking.

Week 5 focuses on energy efficiency, one of the most overlooked and impactful tools in the energy toolkit.

Week 6 shifts into entrepreneurship and innovation, how to design clean energy solutions that actually work for communities.

Week 7 covers impact measurement and climate finance, how to measure what your project achieves, and how to find funding to make it happen.

Week 8 is your moment, you pitch your clean energy project to a real panel of experts, with the top proposals selected for prospective seed grants for implementation.
