      This upgrade study programme is based on the syllabus for the Malawi national senior secondary (MSCE) exams in the core subject areas of English, Maths, Physical Science and Biology. It has been developed with The Open University (UK) (OU) expertise in open and distance learning in collaboration with Malawi educators. Scholars study independently and are supported in weekly tutorial sessions by subject Tutors, who are qualified secondary teachers.

      • Senior secondary: Scholar progression handbook

        This handbook was developed in collaboration with colleagues from Malawi Teacher Training Colleges, TEVETA  and CHAM colleges, and FAWEMA (Forum for African Women Educationalists, Malawi), and provides Scholars with a wealth of advice, information and guidance on available further education opportunities, building a portfolio, and applying for employment. This is a must-have resource for all Malawi secondary school leavers.
