This free course is the final instalment of a set of 10 courses with the common theme of community engagement and leadership. In the previous 9 courses there has been the opportunity to build a wide range of skills in leadership, communication, working with others and decision-making, in the context of policing within a community. We advise strongly that you do not start this course until you have completed the other 9 courses. This last course is to be used to bring all of these ideas together and partly text your knowledge by making you apply those skills in a practical way to a given situation. You take the role of a police officer who is working in a new and slightly challenging location who has to build relations with the local community and address the issues they are facing. A story unfolds and as you progress you will have to apply ideas from all of the previous courses in the set.
