These questions are discussed in the Intrapreneurship Series – a series of four webinars from The Open University (OU), hosted by innovation advisor and engineer, Josh Valman. The four sessions look at the what intrapreneurs are and how the right culture can be created to allow them to solve problems in the same fashion as an entrepreneur and start-ups. We take a closer look at digital/AI and sustainability and learn how intrapreneurs could help you to solve difficult challenges in these vital areas.

Including guests Katherine Morgan, Head of High Growth & Entrepreneurs at Barclays and Dr. Aqueel Wahga, Senior Lecturer in Management, this webinar is designed to inspire employers, unpacking the unique mindset and skills that distinguish intrapreneurs and how these individuals can be identified and enabled in an organisational environment.
Webinar 2: Fostering an intrapreneurial culture
Session two looks at how employers build an intrapreneurial culture with the help of Duncan Levesley from Grant Thornton, Darryl Merkli of marketing agency HUT 3 and OU Honorary doctor and CEO of Traid, Maria Chenoweth.
Webinar 3: Making a difference – digital and AI
This session on technology and AI sees the OU’s Digital Skills Lead, Jane Dickinson joined by OU entrepreneur in residence Julian Hall and Capgemini’s Darren Campbell.
Webinar 4: Making a difference – sustainability
Finally, OU Sustainability Director Victoria Hands is joined by OU entrepreneur in residence, Alex Cole and green roof specialists, Bridgman and Bridgman, to discuss how intrapreneurs can tackle sustainable business challenges.
