Audience growth continues to accelerate, with the global esports viewing population expected to reach 641 million in 2025 (SQ Magazine). This makes esports a vibrant, creative and quickly expanding industry for anyone considering a future career in this space.
We met with Leyla Sabet, Head of Education at educational esports company, EStars, to gain insight into the skills, roles and opportunities shaping the future of esports.

What is your current job and who do you work for?
What did you study and how did you
progress into your role?
I really enjoy that students can learn about something they're genuinely interested in and love helping people understand that Esports is so much more than just gaming.
What is the highlight of your job/biggest achievement?
What advice would you give to someone looking
to work in your industry? What skills are required?
If you're interested in gaming, there's almost certainly a role for you in the industry. Find the area you care about, get curious, and look for ways to combine your interests with the skills the industry needs.
