myf.cymru is a mental health and wellbeing resource aimed at Welsh speaking higher education students studying in Wales and beyond.

Myf.cymru is a national initiative dedicated to enhancing mental health and wellbeing support for Welsh-speaking students across Wales and beyond. The project focuses on raising awareness, reducing stigma, and encouraging open conversations about mental health through the medium of Welsh. 
 

On the site you will find a wide range of materials, including a Mental Health A–Z guide, the Hwb Myf section with student-created wellbeing content, and a Video Hub featuring fitness sessions, podcasts, and personal stories.

'Sgwrs?' Podcast 

This podcast brings together students, mental health experts, and well-known Welsh voices to discuss relevant topics such as the cost of living, neurodiversity, and the LGBTQ+ experience, with four series available on YouTube and major streaming platforms.

Wellbeing Apps 

Myf.cymru also collaborates on digital tools such as the Moving On In My Recovery app - now available in Welsh. This tool is packed with useful and practical resources to support you on your recovery journey and will help anyone navigate the challenges of daily life. 

The Sorted App promotes wellbeing and resilience using sports psychology techniques. Both apps are available to download on Apple and Google Play app store. 


Please note as this resource is aimed at Welsh speakers, not all website content has been translated into English. myf.cymru is a Welsh language mental health and wellbeing project and website for students. The resources have been created in partnership with Bangor University, Aberystwyth University, University of Wales Trinity Saint David and Grŵp Llandrillo Menai.
