After studying this course, you should be able to:

identify strengths and weaknesses as a writer of fiction
demonstrate a general awareness of fiction writing
discuss fiction using basic vocabulary.

It’s an excellent introductory course for new writers who want to begin with something concrete. I found the excerpts and audio transcripts absolutely useful, offering real-world insights directly from the authors.
