5 dōu 都: asking about habitual actions
The adverb dōu 都 can be used to ask about habitual actions:
Nǐ wǎnshang dōu zuò shénme? 你晚上都做什么？
What do you usually do in the evening?
Note that dōu 都 cannot be used in the reply:
Kàn shū, xiězì, shàngwăng …看书、写字、上网 …
reading books, writing characters, going online…
