2 Three ethical criteria

When considering research that involves humans, three ethical standards or criteria are frequently discussed and should be considered (McKinney, 2007). Each of these is briefly explained based on McKinney (2007) and ESRC (2015), and illustrated in terms of SoTL in this section.
