Introductions
For introductions, you want to set the learner up for what to expect for the week/session, by giving an overall outline of the content as well as a short summary of the learning outcomes.
Some courses tend to have mini learning outcomes for each week, as well as a short video introduction:
- Personal branding for career success [Tip: hold Ctrl and click a link to open it in a new tab. (Hide tip)]
- Midlife MOT: wealth, work and wellbeing
- Coaching others to coach
- Exploring learning disabilities: supporting belonging
- Moons of our solar system
- MSE’s Academy of Money
You don’t have to do this however, some courses just have a nice, detailed introduction, giving the learner a taster of the content and drawing them in to learn more:
- Introduction to adolescent mental health
- Physical activity for health and wellbeing in the caring role
- All my own work: exploring academic integrity
The main aim of this page is to explain what is the aim of this session is and to entice the learner to get going with the session/week.
