2.2 Moving to a campaign
Once you have union recognition at work, it is time to start the work of achieving change. Think back to your one-to-one conversations with your colleagues. What were the issues that came up again and again? What were the issues that people felt strongly about? Now is the time to consider how the union can take action on those issues.
Here is where the work you did last week on campaigning comes in. Identify your issue, develop a strategy, and act. This is how a collective achieves change, develops leadership, and builds the organisation in the longer term.
