Usually, flashcards are designed by educators for students and children. The project features an ever-growing deck of flashcards designed by young people for education policymakers, politicians, and teachers to challenge them to think, see and act in new ways. Whatever your sector or subject area, Turn It Around could be used in many ways within teaching addressing the climate crisis. For example, you could:

  • discuss the themes presented on the existing flashcards and their significance
  • explore how themes connected with a specific subject area could be presented in flashcards
  • explore the ways in which art has been used to amplify the messages presented on the flashcards
  • support students in creating flashcards for the project.
