Summary of Week 1

In this week you took the first steps of learning Arabic, namely learning about the alphabet and an introduction to the role vowels. You also read about reasons for learning Arabic and who speaks (or writes!) it, and how dialects differ from Standard Arabic. In Week 2 you will learn how to connect the letters, and you will have a first try at writing in Arabic.
