You’ve now explored how racism and ableism intersect to create complex challenges for racially minoritised children, particularly those with SEND. However, the interventions you’ll examine next are valuable for supporting all racially minoritised children and young people, especially those who have experienced complex lives. In this section, you’ll look at three approaches that are often used to challenge discriminatory patterns and support more inclusive and anti-racist practice across all contexts where children learn and grow.
