Biography
I was born in Brazil, but my desire to learn English began early, at the age of 10. I started
studying English at the age of 11 and finished my English Course at the age of 17. That same
year I had already entered the State University of Rio de Janeiro to study English and respective
Literatures. I worked for a short time as an English teacher and then went on to other paths. I
worked as a bilingual secretary, where I had the opportunity to translate technical manuals. I also
worked as a bilingual saleswoman in a renowned jewelry store at the International Airport of Rio
de Janeiro. Later I joined the telecommunications field, where I worked for 15 years and decided
to do a Post-graduation in this area. My passion for English awakened in me the desire to work
as a translator and put into practice all I have learned, so last year I enroll in a translation course to improve my skills.
