Introducing practical healthcare is an introductory course for healthcare support staff – for example healthcare assistants, porters, and the wider healthcare team – who might be looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in order to improve their career progression. This course will develop your knowledge and skills for a deeper understanding of healthcare practice. You will be introduced to some key ideas around quality care and you will have the opportunity to reflect on how these ideas might be applied in practice.
This course is free and you are welcome to study it without enrolling. However, the course gives you the opportunity to earn digital badges as a recognition of your learning. Great insight to my new career path

As someone who is looking to change career path into Social Care, I found this course to be insightful, straightforward to understand and encouraging; enjoyable and achievable.
The content format is short sections and sub-sections with the right balance of written knowledge, video, audio clips, and interactive activities and quizzes that kept me engaged throughout.
