An introduction to Sri Lanka's most traditional dance form: Kandyan. In this course, you will learn about Kandyan dance, gain a basic understanding to it's rich history and practices as well as terminologies associated with the dance.

This free course was written by Dilini Seneviratne.
Dilini Seneviratne is a British-Sri Lankan Kandyan dance practitioner. She completed her MA in Professional Practice, Dance specializing in Kandyan dance. Her continued research area lies in understanding and learning from various Kandyan dance practices beyond Sri Lanka.
