        The course materials were designed and developed to support Highland Multiply, a UK Government funded adult numeracy programme, delivered by Highland Council through UHI Inverness. However, the activities and resources are open to everyone.

        You can can dip in and out of the materials, or work through them in the order presented.

    This module will help you develop the numeracy skills needed to:

    • interpret gross and net income, and associated deductions and additions, within a pay slip;
    • calculate a monthly savings plan to cover the cost of an event or purchase within a personal or family budget;
    • compare and select the best deal from several financial products;
    • interpret and select the best deal for converting between currencies when travelling and returning from countries outside the UK.
