Topic: Effective management of safeguarding concerns for leaders

Speakers:

  • Dr Tsitsi Chawatama-Kwambana, Consultant Paediatrician and Board Trustee, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital
    Tsitsi is an NHS-based paediatrician and Global Child Health expert with an interest in Safeguarding. Her experience spans a number of NGOs, including serving as a Safeguarding trustee for UK-Med and Sentebale, Vice-Chair of AFRUCASafeguarding Children and Chair of Save the Children UK
  • Andrew McLoughlin, Project Manager SEAH Investigator Qualification Training Scheme, CHS Alliance
    After 25 years in the police, mainly as a detective investigating serious and organised crime, Andrew managed fraud, corruption and sexual misconduct investigations at the Australian Federal Government, The Global Fund and the International Committee of the Red Cross. He is now the project manager of CHS Alliance’s Investigator Qualification Training Scheme and also manages CHS Alliance’s complaints mechanism.
  • Lisa Reilly, Executive Director, GISF
    Originally an engineer, Lisa worked overseas in the humanitarian sector for 13 years before returning to the UK and now works to support staff safety, security and well-being for humanitarians working globally.
  • Ann Muraya, Director of Organisational Health, Thrive Worldwide
    Ann states that leaders are critical to the creation of safe organisations. Her desire is to see leaders empowered to thrive in their life as they co-create healthy and safe organisations.
