Study tip - share

When studying a new topic and to check your understanding try and explain your new knowledge to a family member/friend or study buddy in your own words. if you can convey this new knowledge so that they understand it and you can answer any follow-up questions from them, then you do have a good understanding of the new concept. If you find in trying to explain it or answer their questions you cannot then you know that you have gaps in your understanding and that can reveal to you areas that you need to investigate further or revisit.
