FLORENCE KISIRKOI Post 1

Greetings to you all and welcome to this course

Hi all. I am Dr. Florence Kisirkoi, a teacher educator from Kenya. I have attended many courses now by TESSA, OU of UK and COL. I find them excellent for teachers, student teachers and teacher educators at any level.

Learner centred teaching and inclusive education are relevant, human morally right and the best way to teach all students to learn.

These courses have transformed my classrooms and i have impact on my students teachers whom i prepare to become future teachers, colleagues  and schools which i mentor as a way of giving back to society.

I therefore welcome you to this course with confidence that you will learn, enjoy and discover a new way of teaching.

You are sure to thank the planners, producers and presenters at the end!

Introduction

You are right Doctor. The TESSA courses are really relevant and informing which lead to transformation on the way we used to do the business in the education sector. Thanks to Open Learn Team

Greetings

Hello,

I'm Patricia Prescott from Trinidad & Tobago. I teach at the upper primary level. We have certainly been offered a lot of valuable learning opportunities during this shift to online learning. I'm happy that this course is being offered because we do have so many of our learners who can be easily excluded due to both open and hidden disabilities/disadvantages in our education system. It's also a great opportunity to share our experiences.
