Two features of an inclusive school are all children can learn this can be done or achieved through catering for each individual needs of students with a learning Disability and students with Special needs using strategies that entails hands in learning, we as teacher can have then engage in group work, pair share and have them use resources for hands on learning etc.
Schools should develop a curriculum suitable to the needs of students with Learning Disabilities and Special needs because they do not learn like regular student therefore this adjustment need to be made in the curriculum. This can be achieved by designing a curriculum that casters for these students so that they can become active participant in their own learning. This should include strategies and activities Tailored to each individual needs done in the regular classroom setting.
I especially like the ideas of each school having their own resource center where the child can feel welcome and have a sense of belonging and all Schools enhance the environment to cater for children with Disabilities by placing ramps, rails and signs.
