In my country, a learning organisation involves a myriad of open-minded educators that exercise best practices through rigorous professional development and student emotional support.

Thank you for the good question Kelvenne. A learning organization is one in which everyone has the opportunity to learn and in which ‘learning for all’ is part of the ethos of that organization. Therefore this could be  a school, a university, a department in ministry of education, an NGO etc.  where professional development through learning is encouraged.

my school is definitely a learning organization. As a new teacher, experienced teachers "teach you the ropes" :) ....and we ask questions, share ideas and with time it all gets easier.
