1.3 Features of an Inclusive School

Having visited the UNICEF site, I found that there is an emphasis on outcomes such as promoting work and employment. I relate to the importance of this topic. I teach in higher education and in each class I emphasize that we want every student to graduate and we want every student to find meaningful employment. The key word being meaningful.

Work and employment are indeed critical. The dynamics associated with the inclusive school must also train students for the world of work where inclusion is also encouraged in that space.

It is good to know that you emphasize on those two things. It is very important that the students success academically so that they can later apply it in the working environment. However, I have seen that students graduate form high schools or universities and they work in something different other than what they study for. Educators do their part, but what if after graduating they don't find a job and if they find a job it's something that they don't like and it makes it difficult for them to be effective. How does the tertiary level prepare students to faced those issues in the working environment?

I agree with you regarding the meaningfulness of the content.
