Professional Development

A professional development workshop that I participated in was Alternative Assessment for a child with special needs. What I took away from this workshop and use it as I provide support to my teachers are the practical activities. In the workshop, we are engaged in actually applying and making some of these assessments instead of listening to a lecture or watching a video. We also go the opportunity to make one a carry it out. It gave me the opportunity to reflect on what I am doing and how to improve it. Participating in the workshop where I get the opportunity to be engaged is very productive to me because I am seeing and doing what is shared to me that it works and how I can make changes to adapt it to my current situations. The professional workshop gave me the opportunity to learn and apply strategies to support my teachers in supporting children with special needs.
