During my short teaching experience, I have met and heard about teachers that only cater to children that are fast learners. I had an experience with a preschool headteacher. She had more years of experience in early childhood, specifically preschool. I was new, so I was the assistant, I believe that if I was the assistant teacher, my job was only to help her with activities and other things that needed to be done. However, she put me to her job and took the credit for all of it. she even told the parents that I was just there to help her with certain things and that I will not be teaching the children. I saw the reaction on the parent's face and treated me as such. However, I had to teach the 3-year-old children, and sometimes I had to teach for her session too. It was very difficult at the beginning for me because her attitude was one where she taught she knows it all and I just had to follow all orders given to me. Afterwards, she changed her attitude but I had to show my effectiveness during her sick leave. I stood alone and had to work with all the parents which afterwards treated me the same as the headteacher.
