Activity 1.2

As mentioned, that creating an inclusive school should be regarded as a process that takes place gradually ,over time .One inclusive feature in my school is that all children receive a curriculum relevant to their needs and that all can learn despite their age group.

So true Fiona, Rome was not built in a day and by the same token, the features of an inclusive school will become more and more visible as teachers work together to change the school milieu:

- supportive and therapeutic relationships

- daily routine and structure

- children's real world experiences

- socialization

- self-care habits

- inclusive physical infrastructure and              school environment.

Correct June, positive attitude by school management and teachers is key in promoting inclusive ethos.

I definitely agree Rose, positive attitude which is referred to as a soft skill and pro-inclusion is indeed the key.

Hi Fiona, at our school we also cater to the individual needs of our children despite their age group.
