Teachers' Attitudes

Respecting learners means that as educators we will always try our best to use effective student-centered methods when planning lessons and allowing learners to display what they learn by using different assessment methods.

Teacher's Attitude

The success of any policy on inclusion will depend on teachers' attitudes towards learners with special needs. A positive attitude will promote success in the implementation of inclusive policy in a school. On the other hand a negative attitude will undermine whatever the school is trying to achieve through the inclusive policy. It is therefore important that the school leadership be on the lookout for any staff who may be negative and help them to work to promote a positive school culture for the benefit of the children in an inclusive school.
