Developing proper attitudes to create an inclusive school.

Due to lack of understanding and little or no training some teachers may feel inadequate and ill prepared to accommodate children with special needs in their classroom. Apart from adequate training and resources teachers must have a positive attitude towards accommodating children with varying abilities in their classroom. Without the right attitudes problems may arise as it may impact negatively on the child.

Ongoing training for teachers is recommended so they can keep up with current changes and will be better equipped to deal with any child in their classroom. Creating policies and ensuring that all members are involved in the creating of the policies will help teachers to develop positive attitudes to all the children in their care.
