Professional Development

Professional Development is an excellent way to expand one's knowledge and skills, and once broadened, strategies for best educational practices centered on the children and their individual needs can be implemented indefinitely. For me, participation came in the form of formal and informal professional development educational training programs, which allowed me to engage in ongoing learning while gaining numerous rewarding learning experiences and skills, as well as a broader knowledge base. Formal context in terms of university-level courses, webinars, and workshops, and informal context in terms of colleague discussions, reading, research on a variety of educational topics and classroom observations.
