Activity 1.3 Features of an inclusive school

At the ideal school that will feature inclusivity will contain all of these features:

Systems - Commitment and resources across education ministries and throughout the school.

Support - For Teachers and Students working and learning in inclusive environments.

Cultural change - Respect for diversity and participatory learning.

Partnerships - Parents, Teachers, organizations of people with disabilities

Monitoring - Tracking progress on a regular basis.

In addition to these I will recommend the installation of handicapped ramps, rails  and adapted bathrooms and modified classroom furniture to accommodate wheel chairs.

I do agree that these features would be important to an inclusive school as they would provide and accommodate an environment that would attend to the needs and abilities of the students.
