A professional development training I have experienced that I felt was very effective and helpful and made a difference in my practice were a training that were inclusive of teaching Special Needs children. A variety of techniques and strategies were taught to assist these students. Part of the training included a practical where I was placed in a school that accommodated students with various special needs and I had the opportunity to work along with a Special Need teacher in collaborating ideas and using these strategies that was taught. These strategies acquired from this training have been quite helpful and useful as I can now share knowledge gained with other teachers on staff and use with some students that may require special needs for learning,
