Activity 2.2 support for children with disabilities

In our country, most schools only mainstream instead of being inclusive. However, there are different schools that are inclusive but are few. I have only visited one that is inclusive, they have a special center for the children and also the teachers are trained to cater for them. Also, teachers share their ideas with the teachers assigned to the Special Education area and even the principal sometimes visits the classroom. They are given the opportunity to play with normal children but are monitored by all teachers. They also have days to celebrate, such as birthdays and special events. During this time even the principal celebrates along with them.

Yes our schools are the same, main stream, but I see this changing slowly.
