How teachers will be supported in developing inclusive teaching practices through professional development programs.

Teacher support through professional development is one way I can relate to. Through this course I can see that through the years, students with disability have been deprived. At the school that I we have meetings to discuss, students academic progress as well as behaviors. the sentiment is that bad behavior goes with bad grades. In those discussion, student's names are called. These students are labelled as not being to the standards of the school. Now i am saying that the school does not provide an inclusive environment. How do we know if the students have some form of learning disability? no one dare to find out. In most cases, these students are excluded from the school. Through these courses, teachers collectively can create a different environment, in which we can be more sensitive to students, conditions.

The Ministry of Education in my country mandates that teachers acquire at least 120 professional hours i order to renew a teachers license, which is a requirement to teach. Therefore, a more inclusive ethos is being developed.
